Bihar: Locals rescue men trapped in Manjhar Kund waterfall for hours

Two young men who visited the Manjhar Kund waterfall in Bihar's Rohtas on Tuesday were trapped in a flash flood for hours. The men visited the waterfall for having a picnic but a sudden heavy downpour in the area caused a flash flood, thus leading to a rise in water levels at the base of the waterfall. After locals spotted the two men struggling to get to safer grounds, they arrived with help sometime later. The two men were rescued by the combined efforts of locals and police personnel. The rescue team pulled the men out of water with the help of a rope.
