West Bengal: Free market to help needy amid lockdown

Alipurduar: To help the needy amid the pandemic, a voluntary organization in Alipurduar district in West Bengal launched a market where goods were distributed for free. The market, which opened on Thursday in Bhatibari area offered rice, pulses, oil, salt and vegetables to eighty needy families. Sudip Saha, a member of the organization said, the group has been involved in social activities since last year.
