The main road at a village in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district witnessed chaotic scenes, as scores of customers made a beeline for two liquor shops. In a bid to attract customers in the wake of heightened competition, the two liquor outlets situated on the main road at Narapala offered a Rs 10 discount on MRP, which led to heavy jostling in front of the shop. The chaotic scenes eventually led to congestion on the road, prompting the traffic police to press into action.
