Watch: Mother bird fights to save chick from snake

A video from a forest in Hampi is going viral in which a snake is trying to swallow a chick of a Woodpecker and the mother Woodpecker is continuously trying to save it from the snake. The mother Woodpecker fights with the snake to save her chick but within a few minutes, the snake takes the chick and falls down from the tree. This video has been captured by Manjunath Kempannavar, a local resident of Hampi.
