WATCH: Kedarnath covered in blanket of snow

The shrine of Kedarnath in Uttarakhand is currently covered in a white blanket of snow. The revered shrine is located in the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river at about 22 kilometres uphill trek from Gaurikund. The portals of Kedarnath were closed for winter on November 16, 2020, and will be re-opened in May later this year.
