Police bust cockfight gambling in Telangana, consficate roosters

Khammam (Telangana): After busting a gambling den in Khammam, Telangana police confiscated two roosters. Gambling on cockfights is common during the festival of Pongal in the state. Police also took custody to two men involved in gambling. However, the duo was soon out on bail. The roosters will be auctioned following a court order, the police said.
