Wandering elephant and calf at Munnar in Kerala

A mother elephant and its calf were spotted at Mattupetty near Munnar in Kerala's Idukki where they were seen playing and wandering around the green meadows without the presence of human beings amid the coronavirus pandemic. The period has become an opportunity for the wild animals to once again cherish the past when they were free from captivity and human interference. The elephant calf is overjoyed to relive the moments in the grassland as there are no tourists in the area to disturb these animals by calling them by weird names or taking their pictures. After the monsoon, the barren hills have turned into meadows which are full of greenery and the herd of wild elephant were seen enjoying themselves grazing around.
