Man takes aging mother to hospital by pushcart in Karnataka

A man takes his 70-year-old ailing mother by a pushcart to a hospital 3 km away in Junjalakoppa of Kushtagi taluk. For over a year Hanumappa Dasar has been taking his mother Hanumavva to Chalagera district Primary Health Centre for her treatment. The village lacks road connectivity and there is no private transportation available in the village.
