Letter sent to Govt to set up SPB study centre at Mysore University

Mysore: Mysore University Chancellor Prof. Hemant Kumar told ETV Bharat that, a letter has been written to the government to start S.P. Balasubramanyam's Permanent study centre. A temporary centre at Mysore University to study S.P. Balasubrahmanyam's life and his performances in the field of singing was approved by the Syndicate last November. For this Rs. 5 lakhs has been kept aside. A professor has been appointed at Fine Arts College to study about S.P.B. He will start work in April. This proposal was made by songwriter Hamsalekha. When the government gives permission, this permanent study centre will be started says Chancellor Prof. Hemant Kumar.
