Land dispute ends in shooting at two in Tamil Nadu

Dindigul: A land dispute between Ilangovan and Natarajan ended up in the latter firing gun at two involved in the talks. The incident was reported in Appar street in Palani. Palaniswami and Subramani, injured, were rushed to the hospital. Police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused Natarajan.CCTV visual of the entire episode was seized by the police and further investigation is underway. The dispute was over a vacant plot of 12 cents over which Ilangovan was setting up a fence. Claiming it to be his land, Natarajan objected to Ilangovan's ownership ending up in the fight.
