Chembur quarantine centre inmates complain of worms in food

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is treating Corona patients for three months in various quarantine centre. But, a shocking incident has been reported from Chembur quarantine centre run by BMC. Worms and flies have been found in the meals provided to the patients in Chembur M West quarantine centre. The responsibility of providing food is entrusted to BMC ward officer. Maharashtra government has allotted special funds for it. Meanwhile, Ward Officer Prithviraj Chavan has assured the people at the quarantine centre that he will order an investigation into the matter and will take necessary actions as to not to create any inconvenience to the people kept at the centre.
