Surat: 'Hari Anant Hari Katha Ananta Kahi Sunhi Bahubidhi Sub Santa...' (means god is supreme and there is no end of its power). Inspired by the life of Lord Rama, a 17-year-old student from Surat has pained the whole of epic Ramayana on a 101-feet scroll. It took five months of hard work to complete the painting. Janvi Vekaria, a resident of Surat has painted the life and journey of Lord Ram on a canvas in the traditional art style of Gujarat using natural dry colour. Janvi has painted about 15 major occasions of Ramayana from Rama Janma to Ravanavadh which includes, Ram leaving to Gurukul, Swayamvar, Sita Haran, Lanka Dahan and Ravana Vadh. Janvi's painting has secured a place in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book.
