Watch: Kangana pays tribute to Jayalalithaa in Chennai ahead of Thalaivii release

Ahead of the release of biographical movie Thalaivii, based on the life of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, actor Kangana Ranaut visited Puratchi Thalaivi Amma Dr J Jayalalithaa Memorial and paid tribute at Marina Beach in Chennai on September 4. Meanwhile, theatre chains are reportedly unhappy with Thalaivii makers as they demand at least a four-week gap between its theatrical release and streaming on OTT platforms. The multiplex chains are reportedly refusing to screen the Hindi version of the film saying the window to its Netflix premiere is too narrow. The movie will release on September 10.
