Puneet Issar retells Mahabharat through Duryodhan's perspective

Puneet Issar, who played Duryodhan in BR Chopra’s renowned television show, says his version of the Mahabharat focuses on Karna and Duryodhan. The 60-year-old actor, who has also written the play believes that history is written by the victors, but what about the vanquished? "They also have a story to tell," said Issar whose son, Siddhant Issar, plays younger version of the iconic antagonist on stage. In an exclusive conversation with ETV Bharat Sitara, Puneet spoke at length about the play which is produced by Felicity Theatre.
