Italy seas speak: No tourists and boats mean cleaner water

Preliminary results of seawater quality survey during Italy's coronavirus lockdown indicate a more than 30 per cent reduction in pollutants from human and agriculture waste spilling into the seas off Rome. But officials say it's too soon to conclude the lockdown was responsible, as shifting sea currents and limited rainfall may also be responsible.
