Fires in Argentina threaten valued Jesuit church

Some 300 firefighters and several hydrant planes tried to put out on Thursday two large forest fires that remain active in a mountainous area of ​​the province of Cordoba, central Argentina. Dozens of people were evacuated. One of the fires was headed towards a valued ancient church, the Estancia La Candelaria, the largest of the Jesuit temples in the area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
