Market Roundup: Stocks close in the green amid volatility, RIL hits record high

Hyderabad: Indian equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty closed in green on Thursday, boosted by market heavyweight Reliance Industries which soared to a record high after announcing it has become net-debt free. At the closing Sensex rallied 524 points while the broader Nifty jumped 152 points to 10,244.40. Petrol and diesel prices rose for the thirteenth straight day across the cities.
