Budget 2020: What Automobile Sector Wants?

New Delhi: Automobile Sector had put up its worst performance in 2019 over the last two decades. As this sector contributes to around 50% of the overall manufacturing segment, crisis in this sector resulted in closure of show rooms, workers’ layoff and closure of plants. Representatives of the automobile industry are saying slowdown in the overall economy and weak rural demand caused the current slump in automobile sales.
