Watch: Elephant stuck in mud pit rescued by Odisha forest officials

Odisha: An elephant stuck in a mud pit at Ganjam district of Odisha was rescued by the forest officials after a harrowing rescue operation that lasted for a few hours. In a video released by local spectators, the elephant can be seen stuck in a deep pit as forest officials try to pull the jumbo out with the help of an excavator. Towards the end of the video, the elephant can be seen walking into the thickets of a nearby forest area.
