Rapists think they're above the law: Psychiatrist

Speaking to ETV Bharat on the thinking process and mindset of rapists, Dr Rajiv Mehta, Vice Chairman of the Psychiatry department of Delhi's Ganga Ram Hospital, said that the criminals feel they exercise absolute power and that law will not be able to catch up with them. "They think they are above the law," he said, adding that the criminals can be treated if their mental disease is identified and they fully co-operate.
