Ayodhya used as diversion after Shah Bano uproar: Former Union Minister

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, former Union Minister Arif Mohammad Khan, who had resigned from his post in the Rajiv Gandhi Government over the Shah Bano Case, said that the Babri Masjid was unlocked after the controversial reversal of the Supreme Court verdict to divert attention from the case. "It was an under-the-table deal. Shah Bano for one community, Ayodhya for the other," he said.
