Bankura (West Bengal): A fire broke out in a Cow-shed at Bankura's Tajpur village in West Bengal injuring one person on Sunday.
The blaze that broke out at 12:10 am, was very difficult to bring under control as there was no fire brigade nearby. The reason behind the fire is yet to be known.
However, the locals immediately rushed to the spot to douse the fire by bringing buckets of water from tubewells and pond.
According to the locals, the woman aged 56, identified as wife of Shanti Patra, was injured in the incident while saving animals from the shed. She was taken to the hospital nearby where her condition is said to be stable. No casualties have been reported so far.
