Shantipur (Nadia): The naked body of a 40-year-old man was found with several safety pins pierced into his private parts in the Santipur of West Bengal's Nadia sparking speculations of unnatural acts for sexual pleasure and claims of murder by his wife.
The deceased, an e-rickshaw driver by profession is a resident of the Fulia Mathpara area of Nadia. His wife said that on Wednesday she and her son went to her parent's house in the neighboring village to attend a religious festival.
Her son suddenly returned home on Friday evening and saw his father lying motionless on the floor with a strong odor emanating from his body. Upon seeing that his father was completely naked and several safety pins were pierced into his private parts, he rushed back to inform his mother.

Hearing her cries locals gathered at the spot and her relatives also arrived at her residence upon coming to know about the incident. Police came to the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
Speaking to reporters, the wife of the deceased said that she rushed back home after her son told her about her husband's condition. She said that her husband often used to download pornography and watch it on his cell phone.
" We have quarreled with each other several times over this. But he did not watch porn when I was at home. His face was all swelled up. I think it is a murder," she said. Police sources said that prima-facie it seems that it is murder adding that further investigation is going on in the case.
