Mamata Banerjee's book 'India in distress' was launched in Delhi on the occasion of International women's day. Advocate Indira Jaising, author Nilanjana Roy and Journalist Nidhi Razdan were the chief guests on the occasion.

Renowned advocate Indira Jaising, author Nilanjana Roy and Journalist Nidhi Razdan were the chief guests on the occasion who read some extracts from the book and also answered to the questions on current issues prevailing in the country.

TMC Rajya Sabha MP and Parliamentary affairs leader Derek O'Brien said that Mamta Banerjee will set the narrative with this 200 pages book which has chapters on issues like jobs, farmers distress and agrarian crisis, corruption and national security.
