New Delhi: Gorkha National Liberation Front and Gorkha Janmukti Morcha on Sunday have extended their unconditional support to BJP in West Bengal and especially on Darjeeling seat where BJP has fielded Raju Bishta as its candidate.
Union Minister SS Ahluwalia is the incumbent BJP MP from Darjeeling seat but he expressed his desire to contest from any other seat and not from Darjeeling.
Gorkha National Liberation Front and Gorkha Janmukti Morcha have been decade old allies of the BJP and their leaders yet again have shown their trust in the association. BJP National General Secretary and West Bengal In-Charge Kailash Vijayvargiya announced the candidature of RajuBishta late evening on Sunday at BJP Headquarters in Delhi.
Vijayvargiya thanked the two parties who continue to extend their support to the BJP.
Neeraj Zimba, the spokesperson of Gorkha National Liberation Front expressed his happiness over the continuance of coalition and assured to win Darjeeling seat for BJP with a huge margin.
Dr Lopsong Lama, President of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha was also present at BJP Headquarters on the occasion.
