Birbhum: At least four people were injured after bombs were hurled at BJP's victory rally in Birbhum district of West Bengal on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when a procession taken out by the BJP, to celebrate the party's victory in the Lok Sabha polls, crossed Lokpara area in Mayureswar. No sooner did the procession enter the area, a country-made bomb was hurled to the rally, injuring four persons.
It may be recalled that, large scale violence was reported in West Bengal during the Lok Sabha polls, and has been continuing sporadically even after the elections.
