Uttarkashi: As the Uttarakhand Char Dham yatra began last month, the State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF) has begun to save lives of the pilgrims stuck in the disaster-prone area.
This special team that deals with human emergencies is said to be one of the best teams in the world.
From the beginning of the yatra, the SDRF team has launched more than 62 rescue operations. The teams have been relentlessly working towards rescuing people from the bad weather and icy roads to reach them safely.
Earlier last week, a pilgrim from Hyderabad who visited the char Dham uploaded a post praising the efficiency of the SDRF teams in rescuing them and also thanked them.
These Hyderabad pilgrims were drenched in the rains and caught Hypothermia due to the extreme cold. Later, the SDRF team took them to a better place where they were comforted and later taken from Gaurikund to Sonaprayag.
