Rishikesh: A 'Guinness World Record' was set during the 6th day of 'International Yoga Festival', organised by Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) and Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, where several yoga practitioners performed the 'Virbhadra Asan' for three and half minutes.

The feat was performed in two rounds with 897 yoga practitioners taking part in the act, for a record time. Later, they performed 'Raja Kapotasana' for more than one minute along with 'Setuband Asan' and 'Marmeet Asan'.
A five-member team from 'Guinness World Records' had closely monitored the event. More than 357 participants of GMVN had shown their talent at the event.
