Dehradun: A man in Uttarakhand developed an automatic hand sanitizer machine for Uttarakhand police.
The machine operates through a sensor which can dispense the sanitizer after one places hand below it.
Guruvinder Anand, who is a local businessman has installed the machine for free in different police departments.
Explaining how the machine operates, Anand said: "The machine starts dispensing sanitizer as soon as a person places the hand below the dispenser. This machine can be very useful in public places such as government offices and hotels."
Anand said that the machine needs to be charged once to work for 12 hours and it can sanitize 100 people in one refill.
