New Delhi: Indian Air Force's (IAF) choppers recovered a crashed UT Air Pvt limited's aircraft at Kedarnath on Saturday. According to reports, the civilian aircraft was recovered from 11500 feet at a helipad.
The Mi 17 V5 helicopters of IAF carried out the salvage operation of the crashed civilian aircraft and was flown to Sahastradhara near Dehradun.
The terrain around the region made it difficult to transport the wreckage to a lower region. The aircraft was hooked below the helicopter and flown skillfully through the narrow valley.
