After several hours of effort, the gas leakage was stopped averting a major accident.

SDM Gopal Singh said that there was leakage in the gas pipeline causing a small blast. But thankfully, there was no fire.

He added that on the incident spot, it has been seen that the pipeline above one meter was slightly buried and a pit was being dug by the nearby plot owner. It may be because of that the incident happened and the JCB machine has been captured, said the SDM.
