Dehradun: There is resentment among some BJP leaders in Uttarakhand after Pushkar Singh Dhami was made chief minister of the state, according to reports.
Bishan Singh Chuphal is one of them, who said he will express his displeasure to the BJP state president. He added that efforts should be put in place to resolve the issues.
Dhami was sworn in as the 11th chief minister of the state today replacing Tirath Singh Rawat who resigned on Friday. When Dhami was nominated for the post of Chief Minister, many senior ministers and MLAs were angry with the decision. Amidst the resentment, the BJP has entrusted the responsibility of addressing the grievances of the angry MLAs and ministers to lawmaker Ajay Bhatt, who represents Nainital in Parliament.
