Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand): An army jawan on Saturday was allegedly shot dead by his colleague in Tinsukia district of Assam.
According to the reports, the duo, who were deployed in the Kumaon regiment at the Tinsukia district, had engaged in a heated argument, resulting in which, the army personnel reportedly opened fire at his colleague Lt. Sanjay Chand, killing him on the spot.
The deceased was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
