Kanpur: Economic expert, Dr. Vishal Saxena has welcomed the budget presented by the Yogi government. He says that the budget has made provisions for everyone from the youth to the labours. The emphasis has been given to health, which is a good step. If it is executed well then in the coming times, we will witness a new image of the state altogether.
Keeping the elections at bay, the UP government had presented a very inclusive and magnificent budget. The government has presented a healthy, secure and self-reliant picture of the state through this budget. Farmers, women, youth, labourers, from health to energy and residence all these aspects have been given sufficient attention. Some scholars may call it an electoral budget, instead of being an electoral budget it is a budget of the masses.
The medical infrastructure will be strengthened in the state
The Yogi government has taken a commendable step to strengthen it by making required changes in the old structure of the state's medical system. By allotting a budget of 50 crores for Covid vaccination, it has reaffirmed its commitment that in the tomes of this epidemic the government is standing firmly with the common man. With new medical colleges in 13 districts, The Yogi government has assured that health is its priority by saying that the new medical colleges will be established in 13 districts, the medical colleges on the PPP model will be provided in 1680 finance districts and the medical colleges that are under construction in districts like Etah Hardoi will be completed by July.
Social security from farmers to workers
The corona pandemic gas forced people to think, the manner in which people lost their livelihoods. The labourers were forced to walk for thousands of kilometres. People are haunted by this sense of social insecurity. This anxiety too has been addressed well by the budget. Efforts have been made to provide a safe environment for farmers through schemes such as the Self-reliant Farmers Development Scheme, Farmers Accident Welfare Scheme, free water, crop loans. Similarly, through the Atal Residential Schools for the children of workers, the government has given them a dream of a secured future.

The wheel of development will not halt
Everyone encounters difficult times in their lives but life must go on. This is the message that the state government seems to be conveying through its budget. In order to speed up the economy that is going through trying times, the government has resolved to work towards strengthening the infrastructure. A budget of Rs 12441 crore has been allocated for the construction of roads and bridges, which indicates towards this resolve. By going forth with the Uttar Pradesh Core Road Network Project with the help of the World Bank, the state government has given a message that it is ready to take all possible steps for the development of the state.
Apart from this, special packages have been announced for some regions in Purvanchal and Bundelkhand which have been lagging behind in the race for development. A budget provision of about 510 crore rupees has been allotted for the same. These efforts made by the state government shall bring to light several possibilities of development that lay buried in these regions.
Tourism will get impetus
Presently, Ayodhya seems to have emerged as a hotspot for tourism. The state government has named the airport under construction in Ayodhya Maryada Purushottam Shriram Airport Ayodhya. A provision of a budget of about 101 rupees has also been made. Ayodhya has so far been an important place for domestic tourists, but with the arrival of the international airport, it will now become an accessible area for foreign tourists as well.
Three things are mandatory for the survival of any individual, job, housing and social security, The present budget tries to deliver well to all these needs. The provision of tablets has been made for the students studying in the free coaching programme Abhyudaya Yojna run by the government. This will enable these students to connect with digital learning. By taking care of programmes like self-employment and the promotion of MSMEs, the government has not only shown its concern towards the youth but has also given solutions for them.
On one hand, by creating new schools, colleges and universities, the government has taken the initiative to provide good education; on the other hand, initiatives like Rural Stadium, Open Gym, and Sports University have given the message of healthy living to the youth.

In this sense, it is an inclusive budget. In which some arrangement has been made for every class of society. If the Yogi government goes on to implement it well then in the coming time a new picture of the state shall emerge.
