Shahjahanpur: At least 28 children fell sick after they ate chaat at a roadside cart in a village in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
Suddenly the children started vomiting and complained of stomach ache after eating chaat.
A medical team led by a doctor has immediately reached the village and are treating the patients. After preliminary tests, the doctors said that the children fell ill due to food poisoning.
Of the 28 children, the condition of three are stated to be serious, added the doctor.
At present, a team of the Food Safety Department has taken a sample of the chaat, after which further action will be initiated.
