Bareilly: An FIR has been lodged by Farhat Naqvi, sister of Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, against identified people for posting her morphed images.
Farhat has accused Waseem Rizvi of Waqf board for allegedly sharing her obscene pictures along with her mobile number over social media.
After which she has been receiving immodest calls from different people. She also said that Rizvi and his followers are trying to defame her.
According to Farhat, she was targeted by Rizvi after she stood for the cause of the latter’s second wife who is living in a destitute home.
"A complaint has been filed under sections of the IT Act in the Kila Police Station and we are looking into the matter. The culprits will soon be nabbed," said SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey.
Farhat Naqvi works for rights of women and is presently the president of Mera Haq Foundation. She also met chief minister Yogi Adityanth regarding the matter in Lucknow.
