Lakhimpur: A carcass of a tiger's cub was found near the bank of the Bakhari canal in the Rajaganj area of Gola Van range in Lakhimpur Kheri on Tuesday.
As soon as the news got out, the curious locals reached the spot to see the cub.
The forest department officials have predicted that the cub perished due to its premature birth.
With the help of the villagers, the carcass was taken out by the forest department officials for postmortem.
