Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh): Six people have been arrested on Tuesday after they allegedly vandalized a police vehicle in Maharashtra on Monday night. They had come in connection with a probe at the Nandgram police station area of Ghaziabad.
In the incident, many police personnel were injured and they were rushed to hospital.
According to the SP Nipun Agarwal, Maharashtra police came in search of the suspects in a murder case. The police were interrogating the suspect when his family attacked the police vehicle.

According to reports, the search operation was kept secret by the Maharashtra police and the local police were not aware of the search operation. Also, no one anticipated a large crowd would come there.

An FIR has been lodged in reference to the attack on police personnel and further investigation into the matter is underway.
