Security tightened at UP Assembly for budget session

Lucknow: Security outside the Uttar Pradesh Assembly was increased ahead of the commencement of the Budget Session on Thursday.

This budget session will run from 18 February to 10 March.

Samajwadi Party workers and leaders protested against the state government outside the State Assembly today. The party workers reached the Vidhan Sabha on tractors with crops as a mark of protest against the three farm laws passed by the BJP government in the Center.

Security increased outside UP Assembly ahead of Budget Session

The STF, two days ago foiled the plan of the two members of the bombing in Lucknow.

In view of this, the security of the assembly has been carefully monitored. More than 700 policemen have been deployed in the assembly security who are keeping an eye on the rumble.

The Budget Session will commence on Thursday with an address by Governor Anandiben Patel to a joint sitting of both houses.

For the first time, Uttar Pradesh Special Protection Force (UPSSF) has been deployed. They are positioned at gate number 5, 2 and 3 of the assembly.

This force was formed on the orders of the Chief Minister last year. In this post, 15 companies have been formed for the deputation of PSC soldiers. At the same time, a SAF company has been deployed to protect the assembly.
