Extending his support to the ongoing poll campaign, seeking Rahul Gandhi's win from the Congress bastion, Wasim has transformed his trusty bicycle into an embodiment of the grand old party.
Appealing the people to vote for Congress, Wasim has been going around on his bicycle, which has been fastened with party flags, symbols, and other paraphernalia.
This particular act was recently recognized by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, who during her recent trip to Amethi, stopped her convoy and clicked pictures with Wasim.
Priyanka noticed Wasim's campaigning act near Lodhi Baba overbridge and sought to laud the efforts of the Congress supporter with a brief interaction and a photograph.
Wasim is a lawyer by profession and has involved himself in seeking support for Congress from the past several weeks. His mother Zarina Banno had been the mayor of Amethi from 2000 to 2005 and his father - Munna Pahalwan, also used to campaign for Congress on the bicycle.
Priyanka Gandhi has been campaigning in Amethi for the past two days with her brother Rahul Gandhi, who is the Congress candidate from Amethi. She also met people in the Salon assembly constituency.
