Kannauj: A private bus carrying labourers from Bihar to Delhi overturned at the Lucknow-Agra Expressway on Thursday injuring more than 40.
The tire of the bus burst near the 148 cut pf the highway causing an imbalance following which it collided with the divider and overturned.
Hearing the scream of the travellers, immediately Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA) workers and police reached the spot.

The UPDA and police members fished out the people trapped in the overturned bus.
Out of the injured, 26 were admitted to the medical college and the condition of 15 remains critical.
Around 100 migrant workers were said to be travelling on the bus moving to other states in search of work again.
