PM Modi to hold rally in Kannuj on April 27

PM Modi will hold a rally in SP leader Dimple Yadav's constituency on April 27 for the forthcoming general polls. BJP has fielded Subrat Pathak against Dimple Yadav for Kannuj Lok Sabha seat.

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally in Akhilesh Yadav's wife and Samajwadi Party candidate Dimple Yadav's Parliamentary constituency Kannauj on April 27. BJP has fielded Subrat Pathak against Dimple Yadav in Kannauj.

In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Dimple defeated Subrata Pathak from Kannauj following which later the opposition accused the then Akhilesh Yadav led SP government of using government machinery to win the election.

Besides Kannuj BJP’s strategy is to use Modi's face for garnering votes in adjoining constituencies as well.
