Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh): Inspiring doctors and patients alike, a 93-year-old woman from Moradabad district in Uttar Pradesh recovered from COVID-19 on Monday.
Kiran Sharma, a resident of civil line area, has become one of the oldest persons in the state to recover from the disease.
Sharma got infected with coronavirus and tested positive on August 25. She was admitted to the Railway hospital in Moradabad, which was declared a COVID-19 Hospital.
The man was discharged from the hospital on Monday after testing negative for coronavirus twice. The nonagenarian has also been praised by several people for his victory over COVID.
Members of Sharma's family expressed their gratitude to the doctors and staff of the hospital for saving her life. She will be under observation for 14 days at her home.
Earlier, a 110-year-old woman in Kerala had returned home after getting cured of the infection.
