New Delhi: At the Republic Day Parade, the tableau of Uttar Pradesh will showcase the upcoming Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The tableau, say authorities, is designed to highlight the significance and magnificence of the Ram Temple to be constructed in Lord Ram’s birthplace. According to officials, the tableau mirrors Ayodhya's ancient cultural heritage, values and beauty. In the first part of the tableau, Maharishi Valmiki has been shown composing the Ramayana. In the middle part of the tableau, Shri Ram Mandir, the epitome of Ayodhya's cultural identity associated with mass sentiments and devotion, has been shown. Officials add that the model of the temple in itself will evoke the feeling of devotion and reverence.

The tableau also has a mural that depicts key Ramayan moments like — embracing of Nishadraj and eating of Shabri's berry by Bhagwan Ram, salvation of Ahilya, Kewat Samvad, Hanuman Ji bringing Sanjivani Buti, Jatayu-Ram Samvad, Ashok Vatika and other scenes.

The forepart of the middle tableau shows Deepotsava of Ayodhya, in which millions of earthen lamps are lit. The grand Deepotsava of Ayodhya has consistently made record since the year 2017 in the 'Guinness Book of World Record'. On both sides of the tableau, we have shown Sadhvis and Sants devoted to Shri Ram and are known to have expressed their love for Shri Ram.

According to the legend, Ayodhya, the cultural city of Uttar Pradesh, was founded by Ikshvaku, the son of Manu, who was the son of Ayodhya's King, Brahma. It has been called Ayodhya having Ashtchakra Navadwar and its description is there in the Atharvaveda.
