Lucknow: Aayush, the son of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Kaushal Kishore was injured when he was shot in Lucknow, police said on Wednesday.
The accused, who is allegedly Aayush's brother-in-law, was riding a bike and shot at Aayush, 30, in the Madiyava area of the district and fled.
Meanwhile, Kaushal informed that his son had done love marriage over six months ago and he himself has got himself shot by his brother-in-law. He informed that Aayush was not staying with his parents.
Kaushal demands action to be taken against whoever is involved in the incident, even if it is his son.
Meanwhile, Raees Akhtar, DCP North informed that Kaushal has yet not given any complaint in regards to the incident.
Uttar Pradesh Police admitted him to the trauma centre for treatment where he has been declared out of danger.
"Ayush, son of the MP, has received a gunshot injury in his chest and was brought to the hospital for treatment. His condition is stable now. The case will be investigated," DCP North told media.
Further investigation is underway.
