Bareilly: A man in Bareilly has accused the Uttar Pradesh police of inhuman behavior. He has accused that the policemen of Jogi Nawada post thrashed him badly for not wearing a mask and later, hammered iron nails in his hand and feet. The police are denying the incident.
The man, identified as Ranjit, reached the SSP office along with his mother. His mother accused the police of inhuman behavior with his son for not wearing a mask. She further added that three policemen took her son and thrashed him and later hammered nails in his hand and feet.

Meanwhile, UP Police SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan said that Ranjit is falsely accusing the police and is lying. He was walking without a mask. Because of which the police have registered a case under sections 323, 504, 506 332, 353, 188, 269, 270 IPC on him. After that, the police also raided the young man's house. But the young man was seen running away from his house.

The SSP also said that the same youth also damaged a religious site in 2019. For which he also went to jail. The SSP said that this young man has tried to plot a conspiracy against the UP police. He also added that he has got the entire episode investigated closely and the young man is misleading to avoid his arrest.
