Varanasi: Gorakhpur bound IndiGo Airbus 6E 6316 made an emergency landing at Varanasi's Lal Bahadur Shashtri International Airport on Sunday, due to technical glitch in the aircraft.
According to reports, 144 passengers were present in the flight during emergency landing at 11:56 am in Varanasi airport.
The flight was on its way from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur.
According to information, the flight was on its way to Gorakhpur when the pilot of the plane contacted the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and sought permission for an emergency landing after the technical glitches developed in the plane's engine.
The arrangements required for emergency landing were reportedly made at the airport.
