Muzaffarnagar: People of Umarpur village cannot have a dance with a band or DJs and cannot use crackers during weddings as imams of mosques in the village in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh have banned them, reports said.
The decision came after a meeting held at Jiahurrahman Jama Masjid in Umarpur village on Thursday where the Imams of mosques in the village unanimously approved the decision.

Imam of Jamiatul Imam Ziaurrahman Jama Masjid, Maulana Mohammad Saifullah Mazahiri said that weddings will be cancelled if the restrictions were not followed, according to reports.
