Kanpur: As the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched Chandrayaan-2 on Monday at 2:43 pm, people in IIT Kanpur rejoiced in sync with the rest of the country.
In an exclusive interview with ETV bharat , Professor Ashish Dutta spoke about the contribution of the University towards India's second mission to the moon.
He revealed that Chandrayaan 2's Motion Planning and low energy expenditure system was developed in IIT Kanpur.
Lunar Rover consisting of three important modules, was developed by IIT Kanpur after two years of work, which costed about Rs 50 lakh.
