Mahoba (Uttar Pradesh): A four-year-old boy fell into an open borewell in the Kulpahar area of Mahoba city in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
The family members informed police about the incident following which the police officials along with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team have reached the spot in order to provide oxygen to the child.
Speaking to media, Satyendra Kumar, District Collector, said that oxygen is being supplied to the 25 feet open borewell and earth excavation machines have been pressed into service to dig around it.
It is pertinent to mention that the rescue efforts were underway to get the child out and senior district and police officials are monitoring the operation.
